I’m pretty sure it would have been less painful to have a Manly supporter win this year, but instead it looks like bragging rights for first place goes to MITCH SESSIONS on 145 points. To be honest it’s a fair effort for a bloke with the hand-eye coordination of a snake to take away any sort of sporting award, let alone 1st place ($1000) in the prestigious RJAN Tipping Comp. That gold star will look much nicer next to your name on the leader board than the ones you get on your rewards chart at home. Well done mate.

TOM TURNBULL had a solid run home but couldn’t quite squeeze past MITCHs ugly mug on the last turn to get in front, finishing on 144 points and taking out right 2nd place ($200).

ANDREW STEWART, JOHN BRINCAT and TOM “MILKMAN” HIGGINS round out the podium in equal 3rd place with 143 points and bagging themselves a certificate of participation like the other 197 of us who failed to hit the mark in 2025… 

Flying under the radar AARON “THE BIG ROOSTER” BOOTH could have taken home the goods had he got a perfect round this week while on his JOKER… but only achieved 10 points… come on mate even the knights managed to get 10 points this week.

A massive shout out to B&R ENCLOSURES, CABLEDUCT SYSTEMS, EZYSTRUT and ACO POLYCRETE for sponsoring the NRL Jersey Draws this year. So many tipsters stay true to making it though the season even if they don’t have a shot at the main prize when it came to the point end of the season. In the end we were lucky enough to give away 4x NRL Jerseys, so please do show these guys some love, even if it’s reminding them where they placed on the leader board compared to you ;P

Thanks again for a stellar year! The banter has been nothing short of entertaining and it always makes running this comp so enjoyable… although looking back on the season I was a little lite on when it came to the extra attention I normally show to the Manly collective, I best pick up my game next year! Hope to see you all back then, till then I’m jumping on the milk truck for the finals!!! Let me know who you’ve got?!
