MICHAEL NEWTON stepping up, doing what we all couldn’t and taking out first place… equal with MICHELLE STEPHENS but it’s a step in the right direction. Meanwhile I hold myself accountable for the subpar JOKER rounds this round, the Football Gods are punishing me for not slagging off Manly last week to the extent they deserve!

Flying under the radar is DONNA BURTON who is the highest ranked tipster with JOKER still in hand! It was quite impressive that she was not fooled (like some of us) by what looked to be an easy round on paper to jag maximum DOUBLE points! It seems that years of working along side JOKERS such as TOM HIGGINS and TONY REHBEIN has prepared her for this moment!!
